Tours To Be Excited About This Winter...

Whether you crave cozy venues or full on arena gigs there are plenty acts to satisfy your pallet for the remainder of 2013. Raving or Rocking, here's a few suggestions.

PALMA VIOLETS

After the triumphant release of debut album 180 on Rough Trade back in February, don't expect Decembers' 'Rattlesnake tour' to be any less than an intense rush of blood to the head, whether it be yelling the anthem,' Best of Friends' or the desperately gentle mumble of 'Three Stars' you'll be guaranteed a seemingly sweaty visit by the foursome. Don't expect to have to have an intact neck the morning after, you've been warned. However its just not the Palma's, they take a host of guests including guitar guru's Childhood, Telegram, Baby Strange and One Natty Sound System, all of whom are on a promising run into 2014... Go seem them now on their 14 date Uk tour including dates at London Coronet and Brighton Concorde.

The Wytches

Silencing crowds with their heroic heavy sonics, Wytches are the next scene of psych rock. Based in Brighton, the trio now head on after supporting Temples, Drenge and Palma Violets now leaving  the sunny seaside resort to embark on a journey supporting Metz and Future of the left, as well as some intimate sessions in London around late November. 'Beehive Queen' and 'Digsaw' singles are out on Hate Hate Hate Records. Catch their next single 'Robe for Juda' out on November 4th.

Deap Vally

Enough said already? The righteous riffs of Lindsey Troy and splitting beats of Julie Edwards don't come easy to find these days. The point is since when has there been an all female breakthrough rock pair in music recently? The smashing debut of 'Sistrionix' screams for the return of rock, victorious sets at Glastonbury, Reading, Coachella and countless others have caught the satisfaction of many this past 2013, so the upcoming 'Sistrionix' Tour has indulged the feeling of a victory lap for the two, headbangers such as 'End of the World' and 'Gonna make my own Money' will go down as an epic thrall of mosh pits, sweat and screams, summarizing what makes their stage presence so addictive. Walk of Shame you need not take this winter, 12 dates including London Electric Ballroom and Bristol Trinity with support of New York punks 'Skaters'.

Vampire Weekend

A Big Year for the Vampires of New York City. Their second album 'Modern Vampires of the City' was a contrast to their debut 'Contra' but tracks such as ' Ya hey' and 'Step' have seen the same reaction from fans as the alt chart topping single of 'A Punk'. A summer slot on the Pyramid stage drew thousands before joining headliners 'Mumford and Sons' later that evening, proving the vamps still have it in them to produce a hell of a vibe within big crowds. Join them as they take on the London O2, Birmingham NIA and multiple others nationwide this November.-with support from Noah and the Whale.

Disclosure

Ok, a slight contrast to the rest but yet another pair of siblings who've been causing a stir this summer. You cant just ignore the fact that their debut 'Settle' instantly reached number 1 beating Queens of the Stone Age, some achivement I think. But Disclosure arnt just another pop destined group, their music is honestly dance. Uniquely so too, for instance the no.1 hit of White Noise took the charts by complete surprise and despite being released in winter, it yearned to be blasted out in the height of festival season, proving to attract many to 'Settle' 's diverse melodic take on dance. They take to the decks on 13 occasions this November, with two nights at Brixton Academy.

Attention to all those with moppy fringes and Denim jackets. You will feel straight at home with the epic return of one of the most anticipated indie groups of 2013-and rightly so. Don't be fooled by the name either, all members have a past of reckless crowd surfing not to say that every performance will be just as loved up and effortless as the rest. 'Waste of Paint' and 'There's no other way' are guarnteed to bring you 'In Love' with them..as you can imagine all very well recieved at this years Glastonbury and R +L they can only hope that they're run with the grungy pair that make up Drenge and riff-o-licious Superfood is just as eventful. 14 dates including Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Ritz.
